Greater Taree City Libraries has formed a partnership with Angus and Robertson Taree that will ultimately benefit every book connoisseur in the Manning Valley. When Greater Taree City Library members purchase books from Angus and Robertson at Taree, 10% of their sale will go back to the library.
“It’s a win – win situation for everyone and demonstrates the positive benefits of organisations working together within the community,” said Library Manager, Margie Wallis.
“The Library is happy to support local business by encouraging our members to purchase books from Angus and Robertson – in return the community benefits from the additional support that allows us to increase our bookstock” said Margie.
Greater Taree City Libraries has worked in partnership with Angus & Robertson on many projects.
“John Loadsman, owner of Angus & Robertson Taree, understands the importance of public libraries within the community, and is always supportive of library programs including author visits, children and young adult events” said Margie.
With Christmas just around the corner it’s a good chance for members to get behind the partnership and help support their library. When purchasing books from Angus & Robertson members simply present their library card and this will ensure that 10% of their sale will go back to the library and will be used to purchase more library books.
