 Landscapes and Birds on Our Patch

An exhibition of oil paintings and pastel drawings of landscapes and birds from our local area by award winning Taree artist Helga Visser. About half the exhibition is of new works, mixed with some of Helga's favourites from her years of painting. Gallery hours: Wednesday - Friday 10am - 5:30pm, Saturday 10am - 4pm, Sunday 11am - 2pm.  'Bare Bones' Activity - Campground Hunt

Bare Bones: examine skeletons and learn about native animals. Campground Hunt: is a scavenger hunt with a difference.
These activities are suitable for kids 6 - 14 years. Meet near facilities block. Wear shoes and hat. No cost - bookings not required. Under 6 years must be accompanied by an adult.  Manning Valley Kart Club - Try karting days

Manning Valley Kart Club has finally taken delivery of the Australian Kart Association "come and try" trailer and go karts. The purpose of this trailer is so those interested can come and try kart racing at absolutely no cost. Four karts are available for use and can cater for anyone from the age of 7 to 70. Anyone wishing to try will have to register, children under the age of 18 must have an adult in attendance.
Members of the club will have the karts on display on Thursday 10 July and Thursday 17 July from 4pm to 7.30pm at SuperCheap Auto on Victoria Street Taree. Nominations will be taken on these nights and the "come & try" days will be on July 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th.

 Glowalman Championships - Junior Rodeos

Celebrating 25 years. The Championships will kick off at Gloucester on the 14th with rodeo events from 11am and campdraft ands sporting events will follow the next day from 7am.
On Wednesday it's Wingham's turn with rodeo events starting at 11am and campdraft and sporting the next day from 7am.
The final round will take place at Nabiac on Saturday with campdraft, sporting and stock rider events.
The day ends with a mounted parade with the presentation of all the champion and reserve champion awards, ribbons and trophies in every age group and every event.
Spectators are welcome. Refreshments available at all grounds.
