What Accreditation Means
Accreditation means that the Manning Valley Visitor Information Centre (VIC) has received the seal of approval in terms of professionalism and quality delivery of service under the Visitor Information Centre Development Program coordinated by Aurora Practical Solutions.
This means that visitors using the Manning VIC's services can be guaranteed of friendly, professional and efficient customer service. This program aims to network and market VICs as a reliable and professional source of information to the travelling public.
The Manning Valley VIC benefits from a range of marketing programs that promote accredited Centres as the most professional and reliable source of visitor information. As part of being granted full accreditation the Manning Valley VIC was required to meet a number of criteria in its operational plans as well as submission of a business plan.
To provide the travelling public with a means of identifying accredited Visitors Centres a new italicised yellow "I" on a blue background has been adopted by the Program for use on signage, in advertising, on staff uniforms and in all printed material.
Look for this new italicised yellow "I" sign to identify the quality provision of visitor information services.
