Please note that the return of the wet weather may delay Council's assessment for damage, in order to submit a claim to the State government, and until such time as this is complete some roads will remain closed. Motorists are advised that to disregard road signage is not only an offence, but may compromise the effort of staff to prepare the damage claim.
The community is also advised that repairs to damaged roads are not usually possible until the roads and gravel stockpiles begin to dry out, again the return of this wet weather may delay this process.

Council staff will continue to inspect roads and collect information, and aim to update road bulletins on Council’s website daily until all local roads are open to all traffic.
